## Rick Fichter: "O' Shaughnessy's"

- When: On view through Nov 29
- Run: Oct 04 – Nov 29, 2026
- Source: https://www.201at105.com/exhibitions

A Solo Exhibition of Black and White analog photographs taken around the early 2000s in an Irish pub called O’Shaughnessy’s , located in the northwest Republic of Ireland. While living and working there as owner/bartender, Fichter took to imaging and immortalizing the local patrons by requesting their permission to sit for their portraits. These compelling images are accompanied by astute written observations of their personal interactions with him, and what the patrons were willing to share with an ‘outsider’ in a small town. For those steeped in the catholic tradition, the lighting, seating, and framing of the patrons evoke a confessor/penitent encounter, albeit with respect and impartiality. This exhibition will open October 4th and run through November 29th 2026 with the artist present from 2-6pm on opening and closing dates.
