AMR presents ceramic and woven paintings by New York-based artist Victoria Munro. The exhibition, Saltwater Taffy, explores the intersection of color, geometry, material, and queer modernism through wall-based, non-objective sculpture. Munro is interested in abstraction as a space of possibility, a language capable of resisting fixed meanings, disrupting hierarchies, and making room for forms of experience that exist outside conventional structures. Working primarily with ceramics and fiber-based materials, she constructs geometric compositions that occupy the space between painting, sculpture, and architectural fragment.
