Anton Kern Gallery is pleased to announce Ellen Gronemeyer’s third solo exhibition in New York. For DÉJÀ VU , the Berlin-based artist presents twelve new oil paintings and, for the first time, five small tables. Positioning the imaginary space of a painting alongside functional objects, the exhibition considers the act of looking, and the permeability of fantasy and reality.

## Paweł Althamer: Artist/Studio

- When: Opens Nov 11, on view through Jan 16, 2027
- Run: Nov 11, 2026 – Jan 16, 2027

Anton Kern Gallery is pleased to announce Artist/Studio , an exhibition of new work by Paweł Althamer. This is his second exhibition at the gallery and his third in New York, following The Neighbors at the New Museum in 2014. For Artist/Studio , Althamer will move his studio from Warsaw to the gallery. In the weeks leading up to the opening, he will make sculptures on site using materials found in New York: discarded objects, clothing, shoes, etc.... The figures are built on armatures of welded steel and rebar and completed with faces, and masks, some brought from Poland and others made in the gallery. Althamer works across welding, woodworking, ceramics, and assemblage. He refers to faces as “portals to the soul.”
