College dropouts, technical malfunctions, and hippie inclinations fueled the operations of the Bay Area collective Ant Farm (1968-1978). Transforming their Chevy C10 into the Media Van (1970), Ant Farm founders Chip Lord, Curtis Schreier, and Doug Michels brought developing technologies to college students across the United States as part of their “Truckin’ University” lecture tour.

What is an Image, 2570 brings together a selection of works by contemporary Thai artist and Columbia University alumnus Korakrit Arunanondchai. Based between Bangkok and New York, Arunanondchai works across moving image, painting, sculpture, installation, performance, music, and ritual. He approaches art as a form of storytelling: a way of carrying memories, histories, bodies, images, and emotions across time.
