DABIN RYU LATE NIGHT RESIDENCY NOV 18-22ND DABIN RYU - Piano Simon Willson - Bass Dabin Ryu, an award-winning jazz pianist and composer from Seoul, South Korea, is based in New York City. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, a Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music, and an Artist Diploma from the Juilliard School. Dabin has collaborated with world-renowned artists such as Ralph Peterson, Billy Harper, Randy Brecker, Johnathan Blake, Joe Martin, Anat Cohen, David Virelles, Godwin Louis, Rodney Jones, Jaleel Shaw, and many more. As a versatile pianist, she has led her own band and contributed to notable projects including Ralph Peterson’s Next Generation Big Band, David Virelles’ Nosotros Ensemble, the Jazz Gallery All-Stars, and others. She has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Nomad Jazz Festival, and Caramoor Jazz Festival. She is the winner of the 15th UNISA International Piano Competition and the 2025 Jazz Gallery Residency Commission, and was selected as a 2026 Gilmore Rising Star. Currently, she serves as an associate professor at Berklee College of Music. This event is All Ages Seating is first-come, first-served; the last 10 spots in the room are standing room.
