Join us for a special listening session featuring selections from the Hot Club's extensive collection of Brazilian music on 78rpm records. This musical adventure will span the earliest recordings made in Brazil for the Casa Edison label, through the great Choro virtuosi like Pixinguinha and Jacob do Bandolim, to formative Samba recordings by Noel Rosa and Ismael Silva. Discover the world of Brazilian music, from the infectious rhythms of Afro-Brazilian percussion to the beautiful melodies of Samba's first decades.
