    Johnny Mambo founded his band in 2005—now known as Johnny Mambo & Friends—and has since become a fixture in the tri-state area, performing across NY, NJ, PA, and CT with standout appearances for Carnegie Hall Citywide and the Bronx Borough President’s Orchard Beach Summer Concert Series. A former resident artist at Harlem’s Red Rooster, he now holds a long-running Saturday brunch residency at Made in Puerto Rico in the Bronx and recently took part in a Snipes x New Balance campaign during the National Puerto Rican Day Parade. Starting his musical journey on congas at age eight and later guided by mentor Eddie Iglesias, Johnny has been influenced by leading percussionists and today leads a high-energy ensemble beloved by dancers and salsa enthusiasts alike.
