  **BOOKS AND BURLESQUE** Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 pm–11:30 pm. Doors 9:00 pm. Show: 9:30pm-11:30pm with an intermission. If the show is sold out there will be a waiting list at the door. We are excited this holiday season to bring you a naughty new road trip novel, a profane gay sex novel, a gorgeous photographic book about shop cats, a beguiling collection of short stories, a celebration of disability culture and more! Featuring authors reading excerpts from their new books: **Marlon James** "The Disappearers" (novel); **Molly Crabapple** "Here Where We Live Is Our Country: The Story of the Jewish Bund" (nonfiction); **Lachi** "I Identify as Blind" (nonfiction); **M Lin** "The Memory Museum" (short stories); **Tamar Arslanian** "Shop Cats of New York"; and **Nikki Ervice** "Roadshow" (debut novel). Each author has been paired with a spectacular burlesque or drag performer who will create new acts inspired by the books they read! Starring Chestnut Belafonte, GiGi Holliday, Gemma Stone, Rosie Tulips and Cara Mia Cadavere. Produced and hosted by Fortune Cookie. Our local bookstore partner, **Book Club Bar** (197 East 3rd Street) will be selling signed copies of all our featured authors' books.
