About the Salon: The Verbatim Salon is a monthly performance series where actors bring real, anonymized immigration stories to life using in-ear verbatim technique. Each piece is crafted from interviews conducted with individuals navigating the U.S. immigration system. You can read more about our mission and approach here . Each month, rather than paying admission, audiences are encouraged to make a donation to a rotating list of organizations supporting immigrants and refugees with a range of services. This month, we'll share three stories of people whose lives have intersected with the U.S. immigration system: a student in Nigeria, an Iranian man, and a woman from Palestine. This Month’s Performers: Joshua David Robinson Caitlin Nasema Cassidy Dela Meskienyar Thank you all, as always, we're so looking forward to another evening together! Featured Organization: New York Immigration Coalition — a statewide coalition of immigrant and refugee rights organizations working to advance policies that protect immigrant communities, expand access to essential services, and promote justice and opportunity for immigrant New Yorkers.
